The YP-38 is Temporarily Available to Purchase for its First Flight Anniversary!

The second prototype of the Lockheed P-38 Lightning, the YP-38, made its first flight on September 17th, 1940. The P-38 entered service in mid-1941 and was widely used during the Second World War in the Pacific and Asia. The P-38 was the only American combat aircraft to be mass-produced throughout the entire war.
